Azure Front Door and CDN profiles

Azure Front Door is a secure cloud CDN which provides static and dynamic content acceleration, global load balancing and protection of your apps, APIs and websites with intelligent threat protection.

AFD service is microsoft’s highly available and scalable web application accelaeration platform and global HTTP(s) load balancer.
It provides built in DDOS protection and application layer security and caching.
Use Front door with Azure services including web/mobile apps, coud services and virtual machines.

• Multiple regions load balancer
• Path based routing
• SSL termination
• WAF(Web application firewall)
• Azure load balancer and application gateway will work in one region of servers only where as Front door will work in multiple regions

Require Certificate(not madatory) if you want to use HTTPS

Require end point to be configure

Add routes

Require Origin group and provide resources details in Origin type
