Spanned Volume:
A spanned volume combines areas of unallocated space from multiple disks into one logical volume, allowing you to more efficiently use all of the space and all the drive letters on a multiple-disk system.
Suppose if two new disks are assigned to the server and want to create spanned volume then follow the below steps.
Go to DiskMgmt
Right click on disk 2
Now both disks are merged and created the volume.
